Libertarian candidate Alex Snitker resigns day job to focus on campaign
Libertarian Alex Snitker is running for U.S. Senate in Florida. His campaign sent the following in an August 18 press release:
...The underdog candidate admits that he’s taking a major financial risk by sacrificing his paycheck to put all his efforts into his Senate bid. Unlike his rivals, who have much of their personal expenses paid for by their respective state parties, Snitker has cashed in his 401(K) in order to cover his personal bills in the coming months.
“I’m putting everything I have on the line for this,” said Snitker. “The risk is worth it. I feel it is my duty to help ensure that my son, and all of our children, grow up in a free and prosperous America. It’s nothing compared to what our Founders risked to ensure liberty.”
